Adult Guinea Pig
If you've got a couple of minutes spare, please take part in The Guinea Pig Community's Survey on Basic Guinea Pig Ownership.
This survey is aimed at all guinea pigs owners, and will enable all guinea pig owners and rescues to gain knowledge into guinea pig ownership and welfare. In the UK there is a similar report which is the PDSA's Animal Wellbeing Report. Unfortunately the PAW only covers cat, dogs and rabbits - so we have no understanding of the state of our guinea pig welfare is.
There the Guinea Pig Community has decided as one doesn't exist we would create it - the report covers all countries, and will be held through a series of questionnaires so that we can slowly gain insight into the guinea pigs being kept as pets.
There are just 6 questions in our first questionnaire. So it will be quick and easy to fill out.
All information is confidential we capture no information to identify who anyone is. All results will be shared, or can be obtained via email.
