I stupidly bought barley straw instead of meadow hay (similar bags) Piggies CANNOT have straw can they? Looks like a trip back to pet shop! (& I don't drive)

If you mean for feeding, straw can't replace hay, no. Soft barley straw can be used for bedding though!

I would avoid using straw at all with piggies even as bedding as it's harsher than hat and can lead to poke injuries

Only just saw your replies, so late response. Sorry. Anyway, I returned to the shop & exchanged the straw for meadow hay, no problem. Thanks.
