New Born Pup
Hey Guys! First timer on this forum but have had pigs before. I currently have a male, unknown age because I rescued him and we were told he was found in the woods and brought to the shelter. I have had him since February and he is such a love, but recently he barely seems to be peeing. He eats, drinks, poops, cuddles, plays like normal, but I use grey fleece blankets as bedding and he usually leaves big pee stains, but there have just been tiny dots lately (first noticed on Sunday and it is now Tuesday). I know guinea pigs hide illness very well so I am concerned and would bring him to a vet but unfortunately I live on an island where the only vet who will see small animals just closed last month, and I am unable to get my car off island to a vet because ferries in the summer are impossible. I would be able to get him there eventually but likely not within the next few days so I am hoping for some at home care that I can provide to support him in the meantime. Thank you!
