Junior Guinea Pig
After the recent deaths of 2 of my GP's i have put together my remaining male GP and my 2 female GP's , there hasnt been any fighting and the introductions have gone well and there didnt seem any major issues.
They have been together for several weeks and although they dont seem to be the best of friends they dont seem to be causing any problems for each other the 2 girls stick together and my boy just seems very quite and keeps himself to himself but that is how he has always been.
The problem i am having is by lovely boy was a very long hair chappy and now he looks like her has had a argument with a razor and now looks like a short hair GP now not that i mind as the girls have just save me about 15 mins a day as he now doesnt need to be groomed as much but i am very worried about how happy he is being groomed within a inch of his life.
They did this to their last cage mate but they do not do it to each other which i find odd...
so what to do about this problem as there previous mate ended up looking like a skinny pig with the amoount of hair they removed and i really dont want that to happen to this lad
so do i seperate him to give him a chance to grow some hair back leave him next to the girls and then reintroduce him,
seperate him and find him a friend that wont give him a extreme hair cut or leave him on his own next to the girls and just give them floor time so he can get a social meet up every day but keep his fur
Sorry for all the questions but just a bit worried about my every decreasing furryGP
