How old is the pig? Some bumps can be ok and just be left alone. How long has it been there? Is it mobile at all? Is it obstructing her eating? Is she eating and drinking?
If she's losing weight , not eating or not drinking she needs to be taken to the vet ASAP
If its bothering her eating you could feed her mush so she dosent have to chew much
I understand your fear of taking her to the vet but, whether you take her or not, doesn't change the fact this lump is there or what it is. It could be an abscess which are again quite common or it could be something more sinister. The problem is that no one can diagnose over the internet, she does need a hands on examination by someone qualified. Please help my piggy, Jewel. She has a hard ball on her cheek and I don't know what to do. It is hard and bald. She acts completely fine and because of her age I am scared to take her to the vet, please help!
Yeah me too when I had a pig with a bump it was on its back an the pig was 6-7 when it appeared and the vet said it was benign and that pig lived until she was 8 1/2 I have never heard of a face lump or one on a young pig that's been nothing unfortunatelyAll bumps should be taken to a vet for correct diagnosis. You are right in that some bumps are benign, fatty lumps being common for piggies but I have never come across any anecdotes of these appearing on faces

I know it's easier said than done, but try not to worry too much.
