Balding near eye and nose

Hello! My little Presley is almost 4 months old. About 3 days ago I noticed a scab near her eye. Today it is a completely bald, perfect circle with scabs around the perimeter. She does not seem uncomfortable. No itching, rubbing, scratching, nothing. What could this be? Ringworm? Fungal? Please help! I do not want this to cause problems
for her! Thank you in advance.

That looks like it may be fungal. Be careful about hygiene and also cleaning out the cage thoroughly. Make an appointment with the vet as soon as possible. I’d suggest you send an email then ring them up.

Hi!

Please have your piggy vet checked re. potential ringworm. If she is a new piggy, you can reclaim the vet cost from the pet shop you have got her from. Please be very careful; ringworm is highly infective. You will always have to treat all piggies in contact with a piggy with fungal or parasites. Keep in mind that there is always some time between infection and acute outbreak (incubation period); in ringworm that is about 10-14 days.

If you live in a humid and warm environment, other milder forms of fungal infection will be also more common.
