Bald wet spot?

My male Guinea pig has a bald patch on his bum? I don’t know how to upload pictures which is annoying. I got him and his brother a few weeks ago , adopted from pets at home.(both one and a half) They said he wasn’t underweight but he definitely is so we are getting that checked out at the vets in a few days. His brother keeps hopping on to him which is another problem but today I noticed a bald pink lump on his back and around there was quite wet, does anyone have an idea of what it can be?
