Hello, i’m a new guinea pig owner and today i noticed that one of my guinea pigs has a bald spot as well as this other bump near his genitals (kinda looks like it could be a burn, although i’m sure its not.. it has that kind of appearance?) I’ll insert photos, but i’m confused as to what kind of skin problem it could be? because there seems to be so many possibilities, i just thought that maybe if i included photos that someone may know what is going on with my piggie and if he needs any kind of medication or etc? (i checked his fur and he seems to be free of any fleas) Thank you!

Your piggy needs to see a vet for diagnosis and treatment.
Guinea pigs dont have species specific fleas but they can get mite infestations (which you can’t see), lice and fungal infections.
If it turns out to be fungal (ringworm), then that can be spread to humans so practice good hygiene

I would suspect a fungal skin infection, especially given the 'ring' of affected skin in the second picture. This will need treatment with an antifungal from a vet. It's also important to practice good handwashing and cleaning of the cage, as ringworm is contagious to other pigs and humans.
