For quite a while now Ginger, my oldest Piggy, has had bald patches behind her ears. There is no sign of mites or anything like that. When I touch the bald skin she doesn't squeak in pain or anything like that.

She is about 5 years old now, and I was wondering if it's just an age thing?

I don't think it's severe, as she's had one of the bald spots for a few months and it hasn't caused her any pain, but now another one has come up behind her other ear and I'm getting worried.

I'll have photos up soon to help with diagnosis.

Hiya
Its perfectly normal, all piggies have these bald patches behing their ears...it assists with their hearing I believe!

When I was a new piggy owner, I was worried too :))
