Adult Guinea Pig
My two boars, Biscuit and Crackers seem to get on pretty well, occasionally, biscuit like to use his friend as a humping machine, who complains a bit, but for something that happens rarely, he copes fine, and ignores him..
A few weeks ago, Biscuit had a scabby face, and a missing claw? Crackers on the other hand had no marks, and there was no teeth grinding, or threatening poses, shared between them?
They get on well inside/outside cage, Crackers isn't sexually motivated one bit, where as Biscuit is like a dog on heat at times..
In the past, when two pigs don't get on, it's pretty obvious, as scuffles would be frequent, and would lead to being separated.. These two have left me confused, as like mentioned above, they show no malice towards each other, and give no reason to be parted..
I don't want to part them, as Crackers already lost a cage pal (died a year ago last Easter) and seems to be have been pining for him ever since.. His personality changed over night, and he became withdrawn and sulky.. Biscuit seems to have been the therapy he needed.. and at 3, I don't think it's fair finding him a new pal, and unsettling him again
