Maddy
Adult Guinea Pig
I decided that after weeks and weeks of having to clean my cage out three times a week that Woodlakes was not a viable option for a substrate
So I went into Pets At Home yesterday and got the back to nature letter which is designed for small animals with respect tree problems
Respire tree
Breathing problems
Stupid Apple dictation
This morning I came in to my living room and I realised there was something missing and it took me a few seconds to realise that it was the smell of guinea pig we that wasn't there so so far so good
I can find it cheaper on Amazon because Pets At Home didn't have the 30 L bags in stock they only had the 10 so I got three of those because I knew that attain wouldn't be big enough to cover my floor
We were not very happy about the substrate change however as it probably felt strange under their feet
They do seem quite calmer this morning and happier so I think it just took them overnight to adjust
I have used carer fresh in the past and have been better really disappointed
So I thought I would give that back to nature a go because I have nothing to lose
What are other peoples thoughts on this as a substrate?
