Just went shopping for some piggy and hammy things and picked up a few freebies.

I bought some Vitakraft 'Nibblerings' which are like little alfalfa cheerios - for my hammy and guineas, they all love them!
Got some Science Selective Hamster food to mix in with Blossom's muesli.

Freebies!
One of my local garden centres were handing out free trial bags of the 'Back-2-Nature' eco friendly bedding and they gave us three! I know this question isn't piggy related, but does anyone know if it is suitable for hamsters? It says it is okay for rodents, but the stuff is really small and I'm worried she will try and eat it - knowing what she is like!
I heard that loads of places have been handing out free bags of this stuff, so it is worth looking out for!
Really pleased as the stuff is about £7 for the normal sized bag!

They were also handing out these free dog treats, and gave us a few of them. Finally found something that doesn't have wheat in, as both our dogs are wheat intolerant.

Turned out to be a good shopping trip, even though I didn't find my piggy food :(

Its just paper based so it should be fine for a hammy, I plan on using it in my hammies litter trays after their current megazorb has ran out :-)
