Last week I lost my Puddles under the fence so I blocked up the hole that he escaped from. Last night I saw what I thouht was a mouse (I wasn't surprised because there was a lot of guinea pig pellets down there incouraging Puddles to come back)

This morning I see it.. it's a baby wild rabbit. It must have been in my garden all week and can't get out because i've blocked up the hole.. I feel bad! I'm going to have to go dig a hole now so it can get out.

He is so cute I don't want to but I know he's wild and needs to do as he pleases, be nice to have a visitor though! :)

You need to speak to your local rescue people, don't tell the council yet cause there policy is to get rid of vermin :tickedoff:, maybe you can get this little one rescued. If not don't be disappointed you've done your best i think you're nice to have considered what you can do :)

Aww how cute! I agree with Glynis :)

Also if you blocked the fence how will puddles get back in?

Good luck with the bun :)

She found Puddles :)

Good luck with the baby bunny...maybe it would be best to call a wildlife type place near you if it's a baby and has been away from it's mother? Maybe it has dug a hole somewhere to come in and out haha ;D

yeah I found puddles. It's ok - they aren't vermin - well what I mean is we lhave a lot of open space and woodland hbehind our house and we regularly see the bunnies running about early morning. It's no surprise to see a bunny, just a baby one all alone in my garden. I have dug a hole and he appears to have gone. DH said he's been back through the day and seems quite happy.

I feel terrible that he appears to be stuck in my garden and I have 'messed with natures course' but there's no way i'm calling 'rescue' the bunnies are our friends round here. and see alot of them out the back.
