Hello, my two baby guinea pigs have eaten about a 1.5cm squared piece of bulb leaf. They are this together, so it would be less for each one. Please help, will they be okay?

No idea I’m afraid but it might be helpful to know what kind of bulb. Any ideas?

Hi and welcome

Please keep an eye on your babies for the next day or two. Hopefully they will be OK as it is only a small amount.
See a vet ASAP if they are showing signs of illness. Rodents don't have a vomit reflex so what goes down has to come out at the other end.

Hello, It is now more than 24 hours later, and they both seem fine, do you think this means they will be okay. Thanks for replying :)

Yes, I would stop worrying. Just make sure that it cannot happen again... ;)

Narcissi (jonquils) are poisonous in all their parts. Humans included!

Luckily guinea pigs seem to be pretty immune to poisonous plants, or decide after a nibble that they don't like them!
