Baby Guinea Pig needs

You don’t need to supplement any guinea pigs. They should get all their nutritional needs from their hay, veg and pellets (which are fortified with vit c).

At best, supplementation can be a waste as excess vit c is simply excreted in their urine.
Routine, long term supplementation can be detrimental to them as their bodies become used to abnormally high amounts of vitamin c. If the level then drops, even if the level it drops to is considered within normal range for any other piggy, then a supplemented piggy can suffer from scurvy caused by the drop.

It’s only recommended to give a short course (two weeks) of vit c supplementation to a piggy during a period of illness to boost the immune system
