I got a young male guinea pig to bond with my adult male guinea pig. They seem to get along well with no aggression since the initial introduction. The only problem is when the younger pig tries to nuzzle underneath the adult.

The young one will stick his nose under the adults head or stomach and the adult will nip at him and kind of bop him on the head to make him stop. I'm wondering why the younger pig keeps doing this?

Also the younger pig almost always makes a sound like rubbing your hands on a balloon. I'm worried that this is a scared/irritated sound and I'm not sure what to do about it. He eats really well and follows around the adult all the time. I think the only thing that would irritate him would be not being able to get under the adult lol.

Any advice would be appreciated.

He’s just trying to look for the comfort of hiding like he probably used to do with mum. Or maybe even trying to nurse! How old is baby?

The squealing noise is a submission sound to tell your older boar he gives in.

I don't know the older pig's age. I got him from a pet shop and they didn't know his age.
