New Born Pup
Hello All!
I’ve found myself in possession of a 4-week old baby boar. (Long story)
Proud owner of a boar duo (7 Months Old, Bonded)
With Trios having such a high failure rate, I’m not even going to introduce them/try to bond.
The baby is cute and awesome, but the existing bond of my boys is most important to me - and am prepared to take the little guy to a rescue asap.
That said - could the baby be kept in a separate cage next to my existing pair, or will that cause a potential for a bond breakdown?
Is it possible to socialize the baby with one of the pair so that he gets the proper body language socialization that is so crucial for babies during their formative years?
Trying to do right by the baby and my boys while I wait for the rescue to get back to me, if at all.
Any suggestions here are welcome.
