Hi everyone, I have a housing question to ask, it's been a while since I've had guinea pigs!
I am picking up a mum and her two babies from a rescue centre this Thursday and their hutch is two stories high. However, as the babies are only little, I was thinking about blocking off the ramp until they are older?
I am in the process of fixing a banister to the side of the ramp but I'm still cautious about the babies going on it. For temporary measures, the top section would be big enough (IMO) and they'd have access to a 5ft Ark run most days. It's an awkward hutch to measure as it's hexagon, but the best measurements I've got are 4ft long, 28 inches deep and each section is 2ft high. I know that size is best suited to two guinea pigs but do you think it will be ok for a few weeks until the babies are a little older?
thanks
