Since Ernie passed away on Friday, Babe has come out of herself massively.
She now runs around outside the cage much more, is much happier about being handled and is eating more.
I can't understand it - I was sure she would be terribly lonely on her own. She got on really well with Ernie. Any ideas why her general behaviour has improved?
I'm getting a friend for her at the weekend but can't put them together for a month yet as he only went in for neuter today. He is a much more outgoing pig than Ernie was and is happier with handling. do you think Babe will go back to her shy self when Eric arrives?
