Auroura attacked Lottie/Anya in reintroduction!

So, todays reintroducing Auroura to the group ended pretty badly,
Though the whole thing Auroura was being quite aggressive to the others,
Lots of rumblings, yawnings, jabbing and lounging.
It ended with a tussle between Lottie and Auroura, I'm not sure if I did the right thing by breaking them up but the way I'm trying to view it is, I think everyone needed a break.

I don't think I introduced them in the best area so when I try again, maybe tomorrow or Monday I will set up some where completely different,
Auroura managed to back Lottie into a corner and lounge at her,
So when they really went for each other I threw a towel over them and pulled Auroura out.

Lottie was very angry for a good while afterwards, she was giving Bear lots of grief, I think just venting it all out like we Humans do to our partners about things other people have done, she had some of Auroura's hair in her mouth like a trophy.

It was pretty shocking mainly because I wasn't expecting Auroura to be the instigater in all of this!
Now I'm kind of blaming myself because I pulled Auoura out the group a few weeks ago for suspected illness that I think was an overreaction now, so this fighting is just another part of the nightmare.

Oh no! So sorry to hear it hasn’t gone well. It may be a case of baby steps in the reintroductions. I think you’re right, sometimes they just need time to calm down and start a fresh another day.

How many times have you tried to introduce them, was it only Aurora, parted for some reason.
It's OK if you feel it really isn't going to work. I guess it's the same with all of us really.

Yes this was the first reintroduction, Just Auroura was separated for suspected ringworm for about two weeks, it turned out to be a false alarm thankfully. They all lived together happily for just over a year before this 'Illness bout'

I'm thinking it will be baby steps too, I'm wondering if next time Introduce them I should start with Auroura and Bear then add Anya then lottie, I've read if the boat accepts her the others are more likely too, so hopefully she doesn't fight with Best!

Just ensure that any introduction is on completely neutral territory, that there is nothing to fight over and that there’s nowhere anyone can get trapped. Try again when everyone has calmed down and is in a good mood. Take it slowly, and read the introductions guides.

I've set Auroura up in a small C C area attached to the groups so I can see how they react to each other through the bars, don't know why I didn't do this before but hopefully it will get them used to each other again.

I think I assumed they would remember each other but obviously they either haven't or Auoura has decided she wants a higher status in the group and challenged the wrong pig for it!
