ate rubber....

So I just noticed the dust pan i keep on the table got knocked into the piggies cages... (I'm guessing one of the cats..) And one of the piggies ate the rubber lip... I'm assuming cookie due to her deep seeded hate towards the dust pan. Any one got any idea how bad this is? right now she's eating veggies and acting normal. gonna keep an eye on her. Hoping the best preparing for the worst...

Hi, my piggy does this all the time...just keep an eye on them and hopefully they will pass it through...if you suspect any changes in their eating habits or toilet habits or if they seem like their stomach is distended or particularly uncomfortable (normally you'd be able to tell when you pick them up) then take them to the vets...so far we've never had to take ours to the vets and I've had to replace one dustpan from her nibbling at it over the course of a year...although she has so far taken a disliking to the brush at the moment...

They should be fine but keep an eye on them for a day or two and take them to the vets if you have any concerns
