Thought Emily seemed a bit quiet this morning, hadn’t seen much of her. Got her out to put on the grass, and found a huge grass seed in her eye. Eye very sore and gunky. So bought her in as was worried about infection setting in.
Poor Emily. Just waiting for my friend to go in first who is having a chicken PTS :(

Poor Emily! Hoping she feels better soon!

Sorry about your friend's chicken. 😞

You caught it quickly so go you. All the best and hope it’s simple.

Thank you!

$365.00 as it’s Boxing Day  but I’m glad I bought her in as it has Ulcered. And my Ocuflox had gone out of date so she needed a new one.
Ocuflox many times throughout the day. Viscotears also.
Metacam 0. 2,5 twice a day.
Re- visit on Thursday.. maybe Friday, I can’t remember :hmm:

Ouch, not nice on your bank balance! :yikes: Hope Emily’s eye heals quickly, big hugs to you both xx

I'm glad that Emily's eye is already showing signs of improvement, but sorry about the cost. Bank Holidays aren't good for vet visits!

Sorry to learn about Emily’s hay poke. At least you caught it early. I think you’re well overdue for some good luck now Hannah. I hope it comes you way soon 😊

Ouch!

All the best for a good recovery. At least you have caught it very early on so chances for a quick and smooth recovery are much higher.

You are so attentive - well done getting her to the vets so quickly. But I’m so sorry that it’s so expensive being seen during a Bank Holiday. These piggies sure pick their moments.

Poor Emily. Haypoke isn’t much fun.
At least you caught it quickly so hopefully it will heal quickly.
Sorry about your friend’s chicken
