Mali's Mum
Junior Guinea Pig
Morning all,
Mali's lady love is here! She's the sweetest little girl who doesn't seem phased by coming to live with us or the Honey monster that is Mali!
So glad we rescued here from here previous home! When we arrived there was a cat sitting on top of her cage which had been left on the floor in the hall as the owners said it was an inconvenience to put her in another room. She had a whole orange pepper with no food ( as it is expensive)!! Her cage was black and had a build up of old poop! What's wrong with some people - I was furious!
When we got her home and cleaned up and gave her some proper good and some hay (they couldn't affords that either!) she seems much happier - even managed to give her claws a clip and they were curling under her wee feet!
Mali has been sitting watching everything going on (I've started calling him Al Capone)!
He needed a lot of cuddles last night for reassurance that he hasn't been replaced. As the cages are next to each other they have both had a sniff in each others direction but have mostly ignored each other for now. He looks like a big bruiser compared to her being small and dainty. She's very much a lady so guess that makes Mali the tramp!
Keep me posted if I can help the bonding process further until they can actually be introduced properly x x
