Occasionally, I use a product called "Aristopet Dry Bath for Rabbits" which also specifies that you can safely use it on guinea pigs to.
I bought it a while ago when I didn't know a lot about guinea pig health and now I'm concerned that this product (being a powder) would be a risk to my piggy's respiratory health.
Does any one else use this product? Would you recommend it? Is it truely safe for guinea pigs?

Ive not personally seen this product, but having just looked at it, it’s not something I would ever use - for one thing it’s not necessary to use it. They should be perfectly able to keep themselves clean and if they can’t for any reason ie medical issue/old age then a bum bath with plain water is sufficient And a lot less risky than using commercial products and particularly a powder.

Ok, thanks for confirming my suspicion that it's not a product I should use.

:agr: with @Piggies&buns. I wouldn’t use any powder in this way on Guinea pigs. If they are kept in suitable conditions and are not unwell or infirm they should not need any help to keep themselves clean.

I personally have never used powder wash before. I do have a liquid form of wash, but I probably used it only once or twice. My Finn and Bear usually just get bum baths when they are soiled badly. Finn with long hair gets more bum baths and gets his hair trimmed after a bath too.
