So my pigs have recently been arguing more and more, just now I heard like a lunging noise as if one went for the other, I don't know what it was but as I looked over at them I saw Gary go at Jon and run of and then Jon had his teeth up, now they are as happy as ever sqeaking for food like it never happened. What is happening?
Ps: it sounds worse than it is real if, idk why.

Could you please give us a bit of background to be able to advise you. How old are your boys and how long have they been together? Also what size cage or hutch are they in?
They are two and were together since before I got them from the pet shop, I know that I shouldn't get them from there but didn't then, the two are in a 5 by 4 c & c grid enclosure and only hides with two entrances

Who is top pig and is it top pig that’s doing the lunging? Do you respect their hierarchy when dealing with them? Has there been any change to their cage or anything else like that?

Sorry I didn't notice your reply sooner but they're both happy now with the occasional arguments here and there but they are doing well thanks for the help though 🙂😊

Those aren’t arguments, that’s normal dominance behaviour. Sometimes one piggy will mount and the other will rumble strut. Teeth chattering is sometimes a warning but not necessarily an argument either.
