I'm a 1 - NOT happy at all :( VERY VERY fed up at the moment :(

Its a shame I love being happy, but at the moment, I never feel it :'( :'(

Just voted that I am very happy! :)

Just finished my first week childminding (and have survived!)
Its so nice to feel I am at long last settled workwise again. I have only been doing temporary jobs since I was made redundant last July so its been a worrying time!

And now I have all weekend to play with my Schmichael (rabbit) and all 23 piggies! :D :D :D

Yes - feeling pretty good at the moment! :D

Hi I put 7. I'm good, been for my (overdue)6 monthly check up at the hospital & even though they said there was something abnormal looking there it could just be scar tissue maturing. So no panicking till the results through. It always makes me realise how lucky we are to have a healthy life style when it could so easily be taken from us when I go into hospitals. So other than a bit of tummy ache I'm good O0

I put 8, although am good at the moment, some friends are not, so unhappy and sad for/with them

I can times where I am extremely happy and extremely sad but at the moment I'm feeling lonely, but I understand that others have things a lot worse so can't help but feel selfish.

I would be happy if I could get my life in order but I struggle with self-belief deeply :-\

I have a lifetime of depression behind me ( including cutting myself many times, psychaitrists, therapy). Have been on Citalopram for a few years now and before that Prozac.

I am not happy. But I hardly ever have been.

At the moment I am still very upset over Scarby, the man I love doesn't really care about me and hasn't made any effort to see me for months. I am sad because an old friend has left Bath without telling me. I am nervous about the move and also sad at leaving Bath. My job sucks. Frustrated because I can't get an agent and yet some truly dreadful books are being published. Have zero confidence and belief in self.

I cant understand all you're going through Lucinda but parts of what you say I can strongly relate to. How are you finding Citalopram? I'm also on it and just wondered what your opinion was? Also seeing a phsyc. Have up and down days but sometimes feel happy days are on 'borrowed time'. Have you ever read the book 'Out of the Dark' by Linda Caine and Robin Royston?
Cat x 0:)

Hi Cat,

No I haven't read it. I actually try to avoid reading books on depression and coeliac. I just try to get on with things.
Prozac did nothing. Citalopram seems good and is a very new drug. I am on 30mg daily now and can't get up the courage to go down. I find it physically prevents me crying which can be very very frustrating, then suddenly it's too much and it all comes out again.

Perhaps we should continue this with PM? :)

Just wanted to say Lucinda and anyone else biggest ((hugs)) to you.

I don't think I have depression or anything, but I do get extremely down at times and I haven't got the foggiest idea what causes them as sometimes it has no cause. I also have no self belief and have trouble saying what I'm good at, which is no good for job interviews as if I say something positive about me, wha if I'm no good at it, than I'd be lying ?

I also worry about making a BIG mistake and things going wrong again :-\

Thank you Clare. :smitten:

Hugs to you too - I think you need it :)

I must say here that the one thing that brightened my life was getting Riffy :smitten:, Scarby 0:) and Dr 0:)

I owe my life to them.

I'm happy cos I'm going horse riding tomorrow! :) ♥♥♥

I put a 9. Personally I am very happy. Great kids, healthy, good hubby, fantastic work, beautiful piggies :smitten:

I'm trying to appreciate it while things are going great. You don't know what's around the corner.

I'm like you there Gingerpig. I've been through alot with my health & family & their health. And rubbbish that has been brought to my proverbial doorstep which is nothing to do with me. I'm all too aware that this can be taken from me without a moments notice. It feels kind of rebellious to say 'you know what, yes there is alot going on but hell I am healthy at the moment & so is my child, therefore I'm going to throw caution to the wind & declare I feel great'. ................................ God that sounds like a quote from a self help book!

I voted 8

I'm pretty happy... bit tired... bit sad, have no idea why ;D
