It's just another way to get money. Why dont they get it back from the people claiming benefits illigally. I work, and i'm not even getting the correct wage!
 
what would happen to Mick hes a driving instructor and does a lot of mileage, I think its a bit impractical and we are getting taxed for far too many things recently >:( >:( >:(

Yeah, as well as taxing cars, insuring cars, paying for MOT and for some, the congestion charge,(which has been extended). They want people to pay when they're just driving around now(i think). One 'school run mum' would be paying over £80 a week if it comes in. As if the government dont get enough money from us already. So angry, it's not like the money goes on improving public services, it lines their pockets. >:(

As we get tax, insurance and MOT included - we have a motability-schemed car, we wouldn't need to pay it?

They say its to discourage people using their cars and then they put the public transport fares up. Its now £2 min fare on buses in London and £4 min fare on the tube. How does that discourage you? They just don't want people to go anywhere. B*ST*RDS >:(
 
They want us all to sit at home and claim benefits. If i got a bus to work it would cost me about £4 each way. I believe the car park for staff is about £100 a year. Plus petrol etc to get to and from work. They're just greedy b******s. >:(
 
Things like this make me want to emigrate. And how do you think they will enforce this....they put a "black box" in your car which monitors where you go and on what roads, at what time. If that isn't friggin big brother I don't know. There is no way I am having one, I will leave this country before I am turned into cattle.

I am self employed and travel sometimes up to 100 miles a day, at peak times. My business is will be no more should there bring this in.

I mean, it is just another way to tax people, they say car tax will be abolished....but what about the tax on already expensive fuel? And lets face it, public transport is a shambles, who is going to give up driving to work to sit on a late, cramped, smelly bus? No-one. Unless they DRASTICALLY improve public transport, and make it FREE, then this won't work.

Yep, thats why every other country is laughing at us.
 
It's not all about money though. They are turning everyone into cattle. Next thing you know, they will want to put micro-chips in our arms....."All your data about you, inculding all bank details etc will be on this chip. No documents can be lost in the post, bank cards can't be stolen etc etc etc"
ID cards is another one. They try and make out that if you have nothing to hide what is the problem? The fact is I have nothing to PROVE.

There are more CCTV in this country than any other. Big brother state already and it's only going to get worse.

Oh and those black boxes know what speed you are doing on what roads. Therefore you go over the limit in a 30 zone, 3 days later a ticket falls on your door mat.
 
I agree with you all. Just put my name down-this country is getting riidiculous!
