Hey guys, I need some advice real quick. When I adopted my two piggies, Bubbles and Wiggles, I got a free vet visit so I ofc took them. I did tons of research on how I'm supposed to care for them but I didn't research what the vet was supposed to do because I trusted a medical professional. However, I'm now finding out the vet should've checked their teeth which he didn't do. They grind and grind their teeth all the time and at first I thought it was because they're just angry lil piggies or were stressed at first with their new home, but now I'm getting worried something else may be going on. I have anxiety and tend to overthink these things but I just wanted a second opinion. My plan is to take Bubbles in for a trim and get the vet to also check his teeth since he should've done it in the first place, then when Bubbles needs his next trim I'll take both of them to a new vet I found and just do a full wellness exam that I can trust more (I'm not a doctor, but it looked like he literally just checked their bodies and took their weight then said they're good to go). I feel like they got overlooked as small animals often are and that makes me very sad. Is this a decent plan or do you think they both should get a full exam asap? They seem healthy other than that issue
