Apparently fleece is tasty?!

What do you all think? My OH and I can’t agree. Some pig has decided that having a little nibble on the fleece is good. I did one patch repair with cotton thread, and then some pig had another nibble so I have cut it out.
I am tempted to sew a little fleece over the top & see if it’s still a tempting tasty snack, just concerned for the cotton/fleece combo in a tummy.
I am wondering if perhaps it’s the end for this cube, unfortunately.

We have an identical cube which is always in the pigs home at the same time which had been left alone. It’s always this one that gets chewed on (and I haven’t caught the culprit!).
They also have a cardboard house, which has had so many alterations it’s almost time for a new one.

I managed to get 2 more cubes just before Christmas, as they are a favourite cosy spot.
I may have just ordered an identical one to this one, now the lady at Fuzzbutt is back from her holidays, in the hope that I can get away with a swap and don't have to explain the piggy spending spree!
