And does it look filthy all the time? I want to make the bottom level of my new C&C cage a big lighter and have just found these http://direct.asda.com/SHAUN-FLEECE/002048503,default,pd.html reduced to £3.50 in Asda and bought two, I can't decide whether to use them in the cage, or whether they'll just look grubby all the time (if not will keep them for the kids as they always use loads of fleece blankets in winter in buggies/on sofa etc)

Thanks, I've got some of these http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/40122943 which are a nice bright green put away for my son's bedroom (if I ever get round to decorating it) so might use those instead and give the kids the sheep fleece:))

oooo eeerrr someone was trying to flog two of these used at the car boot for £2 each the cheeky mares, OH kicked up a fuss about the colour as he didn't like it hehe

I would say keep for the kid's piggie's are soooo messy i have light blue with spot's fleece and it can look grubby,

I found these yesterday http://www.dunelm-mill.com/shop/spotty-fleece-throw-172860 they also have plain for £4.99 and instore i found some plain one's for £2.49 each

We have those fleeces from Dunelm in our 2 storey cage, we have the grey one in the bottom cage and the blue one in the top cage, they are great! We managed to cut the fleece and get about 4 sets out of them!

I have the green ikea fleece in my c+c and it's lovely. This is going to sound really stupid, but I bought it because it kind of looks like grass and the boys have a wee tent so it looks like they are going camping lol. My OH thinks I'm mad.

We have cream fleece and it is ok, but shows more than the other colours we have. It washes well though and back to the original colour! Could you dye it if not - or is that not advisable with piggie fleece maybe?

OMG I'm so glad you said that - I got the ikea green one for the exact same reason :))

At least we're not mad on our own lol :))

see I use brown now and like it for that very reason, but am trying to make the bottom level brighter which is why I'm thinking of changing- I have a rather ridiculous number of fleeces just kicking around the house anyway, we use them on the sofa when it's cold, the kids have them over their duvets when it's cold too, I use them for playing "picnics" with the kids as we have all hard floors downstairs.

I don't think fleece dyes that well but tbh I've got others I could use so am not fussed, I have a couple of these http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/00070489 which are so cheap I don't mind throwing them away, so might use those on the bottom and get rid if they look filthy - still cheaper than shavings at that price!

I love the green Ikea fleece, it's just such a vibrant green- but... I have some of my kitchen walls painted in a similar colour, and the boys have litter/hay trays in the same shade, so it might be green overload- hmmm the grids are black, so am thinking we could have a black, green and gold theme- colours of the Jamaican flag (OH is Jamaican)

ETA- I can't believe quite how much time I'm spending pondering this!

We have dalmation cosies and it is clashing a bit with the leopard print :))

oh yes you do have to co-ordinate, I have some animal print cosies so can't have really patterened fleece, I have some other tunnels etc in a spotty fabric but they clash a bit so use them for floor time- don't want to upset the boys with an uncoordinated cage!

I love it, do you know those willow sticks for chewing- they'd be perfect stacked up- you could peel some carrots and use the peelings to decorate like flames as a piggy snack
