Anyone Use Paper Bedding Advice Please?

Ok so my house is stuffed with bedding etc.. at the mo. I have two bales of aubiose, some wood shavings for my hammy, about 3 giant bags of cat wood litter for my litter trays, A bale of hay, A bale of just grass, millions of fleece liners and cosies some vet bed, towels, puppy pads and a bale of paper lol.

I wanted to try them all and see wthst works best for me. They all have plus and minuses, but I should have never bought them all at once lol.

I am yet to try the paper as it wasnt what I was expecting. Its like the stuff I give my hammy as a nest/bed. Its strips of what I can only describe as tissue. Does anyone use it? If so do you use as a nest / bed for pigs or all over? It doesnt seem that absorbant but really want to find a use for it as it is a whole bale and its taking over my house combined with everything else.

I tried this once before i found Fitch and it really wasn't very absorbent i used a really thick layer of newspaper underneath and hay in the places where they slept but i had to change the cages every 3rd day cos they smelt really bad and their in my bedroom...

Maybe if you put puppy pads then newspaper and then the paper bedding it might work better but i didn't think of that at the time or you could use it in the litter trays?

The stuff i got was like tissue/paper strips i don't know if it the same but it sounds similar... sorry not much help!

Hehe, when i first put it in stripey my long haired piggie down in it she wandered round picking her feet up and kicking at it, like "what's is this stuffs" but they didn't seem too bothered and it was just too smelly for me but it could be good for the litter trays as it is nice and if you dun mind cleaning them a bit more often then it's alright!

I just need to use it up. I yhink I may use it in one cage with cat litter underneath or small amount of aubiose for now and see how it goes I doubt ill be buying it again as it was fairly pricey as well!
