I'm thinking of investing in some tubes to connect the hutch to my run in the summer. Has anyone else done this?

My problem is that there is probably 20+ft that needs linking so that I'd be able to move the run around the grass when I needed to. It would have to run along the decking where the hutch is and then out onto the grass. I've thought about linking one of the 8ft plastic tubes from the hutch to one of the mesh tunnels and then another tube on the other end then attached to the run.

Does anyone have any problems with a piggy traffic jam in the tubes though? I'm worried about there being a backlog and them not being able to get past each other, especially in a long tube like the 8ft one, I'm worried they'll all disappear and never be seen again!

Also, cleaning? Do the tubes just turn into elongated toilets?

Please show me your photos! xx

I never understand the runaround much really, as rabbits can dig out of them surely? and a rabbit cant "run" in it.. :{

I use the runaround for my two bunnies! I love it - it has drain holes in the tunnel so it never gets wet inside but it does have straw which they must drag through with them. I've not used it for piggies tho - although id say there is LOADS of room inside for traffic - am certain they wouldn't jam inside! My rabbits shoot through it like lightening lol :(|) so they can run in it - my dogs puzzled face as he can hear them but not see them is funny too! It's a very tough fox proof plastic - if you want to see my set you can FR me on Facebook and see my pics? (Claire Helen Barrand)
