Anyone planning their holiday yet?

So, who is planning their Summer holidays now? Anyone going anywhere special? I think my Dad is going somewhere in July but I'm not going anywhere unfortunalely - I'm house sitting I suppose.

So, where you going?
 
We go camping and love it not sure when we will go yet. Always in the school holidays when we go and we go the odd weekend too :smitten:

5 weeks? That is a long time ;D I'd bet you'd miss you're gorgeous piggies when you are there though.

No where unfortunately. Probably have a day trip out or two - visit some friends.

Also having a few piggies stop for a holiday too!
 
I have two weeks off work in Summer, but not going anywhere. One week before the wedding, to prepare everything, one week after, to spend some time with my family seeing as they dont come to england often. :)

cant afford honeymoon at the present so its just chilling out at home I'm afraid :-\
 
Prob Cornwall later in the year, cant go before, so it'l be after the school hols. Not paying out all that money when i can go for less then half the price after it!
 
Going to Dorset for a week at Easter.

No plans for summer yet, got weekends in Bristol and London booked up for vegan festivals :)

I really want to go to Venice but depends on the pennies.

Hols are sooooo over priced as working in a college i only get main hols to take time off in.

Got Whitsun booked off then 4 weeks to take July/Aug...........

Pet hotel i use is not open after Easter so got to find alternative piggy and bunny accomodation!
 
we are going to Wales in August for 2 weeks in a lovely cottage with our 2 kids ,4 dogs and my daughter and her partner and their dog too can't wait .

we are hopefully going to go camping too for the odd weekend if i can get time off work ::)

going to FLORIDA in exactly 4 weeks time WAHHOOOOOO ;D :D ;D We are doing all the theme parks, staying in a 5 star 3 bedroom apartment for two weeks.....again, WAAHHOOOOO
 
Florida, you lucky sod, i cause i caught moan i mean cmon, 5 week in australia melbourne cant be that bad! ;D
 
We went America at the end of last year and Steve said that this year we would be going Devon as Florida cost us a bit with all the tickets etc etc - but no sooner had we got back, than he was wanting to go back again - so i'm hoping that later in the year we might be going to New York! yippee!!

Fingers crossed! :)
 
Got a caravan so will be going for short breaks. We don't go that far and don't go abroad cos we won't leave our dogs. They love the caravan but one dog will be 10 this year and has been limping, have rested her but I suspect it'll come back. If so, that'll be x-rays for her. Shame because it might mean we'll have to cut down on the walking on hols & she loves it.

I keep seeing these pictures of tiny tropical islands and thinking wow that'd be great, but maybe I'd get bored after a while. Be nice to find out though!
 
I don't think I'm the tropical Island type of girl either - I love to explore and see new places - not just sit on a beach :) I suppose the beach thing is because I'm coastal anyway :)
 
when i go to melbourne, my piggies (if its still alright) are going to kelly's...one big thankyou.
The cats are going to a cattery to be pampered pretty for 5 weeks.
and tortoise, (if i have one by then) willl be well i dont no yet..
 
We're off to Center Parcs next week, and Butlins in July (like Darkest Dreaming we won't pay stupidly inflated prices!) We've also got a weekend booked away to coincide with one of the British Superbike Rounds at Oulton Park, and then we're also going to Donington and Silverstone (twice) for World Superbikes/British Superbikes/Moto GP but that's close enough not to have to stop over. Really looking forward to it - we always try to have 2 or 3 breaks away to break the year up :D

lol same here..for the past 6 years we have been to America. This will be the 3rd time we have done Florida and all the theme parks! We just love it! The other times we went to California, also in that holiday we took a short flight to Arizona to visit the Grand Canyon. then to Hollywood and then Las Vegas.
