as title says really. I'm thinking may be easier for me during pregnancy and after especially when baby is mobile to have the piggies back in commercial cage not c&c . i struggle to lean over and clean cage currently but with commercial i can higher it, was thinking ferplast 140 but unsure if I'm being cruel taking them out of c&c into this

How many guinea pigs would be going into the 140 cage?

I don't have my boys in a C and C as of yet though I would love to. At the minute they reside in a 120 cage -looking at up sizing either to a 140 of the same make, C and C or Midwest.

It wouldn't be cruel at all. 140cm is a fine size cage, you have the two pigs?

you gotta do what works for you.

My c&c is on a folding craft table. So it’s higher up. You can get a 6ft one for £29.

We've always had our 2 boars in a Ferplast 120, that was the largest cage they had when we bought the first 2 at p@h. Perhaps we've been lucky in that lack of more space hasn't led to or aggravated testosterone-fuelled niggles.
We have it on an old coffee table so I don't have to bend to deal with them or the cage, which is useful.
However I've always wanted to give them more space to run around, so we are moving to a 5x3 c&c in the new year, so doing the opposite of you ...

i got my liberta 150 cm from petplanet for under 80 pounds.it is as big as a 2 x4 c &c,5 feet in length.you can place 3 piggies in this.it has a messane/loft,that needs slightly adapting,i use a small fleece liner.

where was that from?

I have my c and c cage on tables from ikea. I put dog lead clips on some of them instead of connectors and cable ties so that I can take the front off for easy no reach (well less reach) cleaning.

The ferplast cages are good quality. I like the plaza ones as they dismantle a lot so good for storing. Zooplus is a good website and if you do a quick Google search you can usually find a money off voucher for first orders. I think I got 15% off

I have my two girls in a 140x70 commercial cage. It is fine so long as I don't clutter up their cage with accessories, luckily they don't play with toys so they only need their hidey's and hay bag and bowl. I have recently changed their set up to give them some more space and they are much happier.

we are sticking with c&c for at least time being, we put the cage down to 4x2 last night now there are just 2 piggies and they love it now ideas for xmas decs haha
