Please?!?!

It's obviously not a major problem but if we have any budding Kims or Aggies who can offer a cleaning tip for the problem of dried-on boar glue stains then that'd be much appreciated. Thanks :)

If it's what I think it is, have you tried 'ACE'? It works on most body fluid stains.

Sorry for sounding dim - but what is boar glue? I've two and I've never seen any....

Is it um - when they get um.. 'happy'?

lol - I see! Thank you

Don't know if my two have ever been that 'happy' :) If they have I haven't seen any evidence.

absolutely - they are little innocent angels and have absolutely no saucy thoughts. Ever. :)

Thanks Dindypig - I'll look out for that but this stuff is more like quick drying superglue than a harmless fluid!

I just assumed that all boar owners would've experienced the joy of "boar glue".....lucky me, both of mine have been deviant pigs! :)

I'm glad you posted this as i have a boar glue issue on my fleece, i found some and ive washed it a few times and its still there! I too will look out for Ace. :)

Don't worry you're not alone - I have gluers too rolleyes
I too need to find a way to remove it from fleece x

Hmmmm....the fact that so many people are also yet to find a solution makes me think there isn't one and we're just stuck with it (if you pardon the pun!)

you could try putting them in plastic bag in the freezer? the blankets not the piggies. this helps get chewing gum off fabric so might work??

Sorry I'm useless with this sort of thing lol

I have found that if you soak the fleece in a mix of cloudy ammiona and water it will remove the boy glue. it will take a few days of soaking.

I havent found a way to remove it of my pigs yet other then cuttting it out.
