trying to take my mind off of losing Dobby and have been thinking of getting a greenhouse, to grow my babes some fresh nosh does anyone else do this, any advice will def grow toms yummy for me but anything else will be piggys only

Yep we have four haha :P Two on our garden and two on the allotment.. three are the "typical" metal frame and glass ones, one is handmade :) We've grown veg for..well, ever? :P As long as I can remember anyway. Tomatoes are really easy to grow and taste sooo much nicer than what you get from the shop..what advice do you want? :P

great minds think alike! today i bought some vegetable seeds but didnt want anything that grows tall so i got - carrots, beetroots and some curly lettuce. i have one of those mini-greenhouses with 4 shelfs and a zip-up plastic cover, you can fit about 4 seed trays on each shelf. *goes to look for something similar...http://www.garden4less.co.uk/mini-greenhouse.asp 0:) i need to replace the plastic cover on mine this year. also i have 3 hanging baskets which i fill with hanging tomato plants ::) things we do for our babies! i would grow things in the garden like normal people but having 2 free-range rabbits they eat almost all the plants and it's impossible to even protect them with wire because Rodney is such a monster rabbit he just lifts it out of the way ::)
Rodney eating the apple blossom last year - he's twice as big now! :o

what a gorgeous picture,
the advice i need is basically for a start up what I would need like staging and pots trays etc what do you do if its too hot in there? whats the easiest to grow for a first timer, we have slugs all over our garden so it might need to be something tough to put out, the little ate all our cabbages last year hubby though if he hid them behind his log cabin they wouldn't find them 98) wrong they ate heartily and left pretty lacey pattens ugh, so all in all pretty much hardy tough ideas lol

Awww eating the apple blossom, what a little devil :-*

Great idea you'd then know that it was fresh and no awful sprays being used that could harm our little babies :P
