They are more prone to hot and cold so keeping your house at a nice temperature is a must. They are indoor piggies, but can go out for a short while on warm days as long as they are protected from the sun (sunburn!). I don't do anything extra to my skinnies skin and find they are just the same as furry pigs. In summer we don't have any snuggies in as my house is quite warm, and we use blinds on the windows to keep the sun out when needed. In winter we obviously have the heating but all the piggies enjoy their cuddle beds :)

I love them! Do they get mites or are they able to avoid them because they don't have fur?
 
I like how skinnies always have that tuft of fur on their nose, it's like some crazy confused mustache that picked the wrong location.

Veronica is almost doing a bond photo shoot there...wrong part of the tunnel but almost.
