Hi, is there anybody in LONDON, UK with hairless guinea pigs? The reason I'm asking is that I'm allergic to animal hair ( cats & dogs), but not allergic to most hairless animals. I would absolutely love to have a Hairless Guinea Pig, but before going ahead and buying one, would love to visit somebody who has one. Just to make sure I won't get any reaction! So many thanks in advance!

I can’t help with your question - I don’t have skinny pigs nor allergies - but just wanted to say to make sure you get a pair of piggies rather than just one. Piggies must always be kept in pairs as they are herd animals and suffer with loneliness if they are kept by themselves.

Welcome to the forum. Are you aware that hairless guinea pigs have more specific and higher care requirements? I don't have them myself but others on the forum do.
I would suggest that you start by checking rescue and rehoming sites, it's possible that you will need to travel. As above, you really need to get a pair. Good luck with your search.
