Just had a bit of a shock, found out my dad has had a stroke. It is a shock because I have a grandad who is 101 & you expect these things to happen to him.
My dad is only 62, and is fit. Not only physically but in a Clint Eastwood way too!
So does anyone know anything about strokes? I know its not a big stroke & he seems to not been affected on him mobility but he has gone nearly blind with it & is having big headaches. Does the blindness ease up at all?
Aaaah I think I'm in shock! My Easter holiday will be spent finishing off the roof he has started to put on the cottage - best get my hard hat out and a few temporary hutches & runs made to take the piggies over to Lincolnshire to help him out......doesn't life throw you a few strange deals now & then!
