Oooh I know I am getting old and technology is starting to defeat me. :tickedoff:

Does anyone know how you can share one pc, and have 2 different music libraries ? one for hubby and one for me ?

If I plug my ipod now into pc its wants to delete my music and sync it with the stuff my hubby has now loaded on! :o

Surely there must be a way to do it ?

Confused Deb x

I think you can only have onemusic libaray with I tunes, as if you didn't sync your you wouldnt be able to add another library because of the way the irunes library.

What you could try is creating a new user account on the actual PC so you log in as a differ user when you turn the PC on, and the try installing itunes again on there and then having your own music library. This should work as it should seperate the programmes but it may not. :-\

Not sure, but I know a teenager who does and he'll be home at 4.30 ;) ;D

hi Vicky

tried that idea but it still wanted to delete my library of music :-\.

I am sure there must be a way to do it, just cant seem to figure it out. There must be plenty of homes with one pc, and several ipods, and a way to do individual libraries on just the one pc.

Oh Bev would you please ask for me please, teenagers know all about these things. O0

I feel totally thick today and a prog is defeating me.! LOL :D ;D 98)

well let me know how you get on, because I asked my boyfriend and his brother who work in computer shops repaiting and sorting out computers, and they didn't know either so let us know :D

This is what we have on our PC - different accounts for each family member. My husband has an mp3 player and my son has an ipod. They haven't had any problems.
