I currently have a store bought one with two floors for one guinea pig, but I just feel like it isn't enough. A lot of people say they recommend C&C cages and I'd like to try them, but I'm not sure where to get them. I don't want to spend too much, about £50 is the max I'll go. Yet again, I only have one guinea pig. He isn't a very sociable guinea pig, and getting another one will surely end badly since he is quite dominant and territorial.

i got my 2x4 grids cage off of craigslist ( i live in the US) but out of caution i double-washed the fleece that came with it.

i dont particularly recommend this because you can never be certain the pigs previously housed in it did not carry any contagious diseases..

found a 2x3 one here: Standard Cages | C and C Guinea Pig Cages for exactly your maximum price.

best of luck on finding a larger cage for your little dude, I'm certain he'd appreciate your efforts :D

welcome to the forum by the by! hope you enjoy your stay :)

Guinea pigs need to be together for company, if you get a younger one they would probably bond. If you ask your local rescue they may pair them up with a matching pair
