So I have a problem here. I have a lot of ants in my house and there getting inside my Guinea pigs cage. And my Guinea pigs are itching themselves and I think it's from the ant problem but I'm not sure. What can I do to get rid of the ants?

I would check your guinea pigs for mites just in case. Spray around your windows and doors for bugs and put sugar/baking soda mixture in a cup near where the most are found. The sweet smell will attract them and baking soda will kill them quickly. Also clean your cage more often, cages with poops or old food attract bugs

You need to get some ant killer liquid or powder and keep it well away from the piggies obviously. Hoover up all the ants you can see and then empty the hoover OUTSIDE. Do NOT spray bug spray any where near your piggie room. Baking soda may keep the ants away from your piggies but you are just feeding them. What you need to do is to get them to take the ant killer back to the nest not the baking soda. It can take a while but if you keep on putting the ant killer down whenever you see it has been eaten you will get rid of your ant problem. Good luck.

Baking soda doesn't feed them it releases carbon dioxide gas in there stomachs until they blow up from the inside. That was meant close to the pigs cage since it won't hurt the guinea pigs just the ants. I do agree with the bug sprays though. They need to be sprayed out asap
