Hi guys, thank goodness for this forum! It has been raining for two days in Glasgow, although warm. Yesterday I let the piggies out in the outdoor run, covered so they were dry, grass was dry as I set it up before rain started, and they did potter about and looked happy. Brought them in for floor time and cuddle in the evening. Pouring today so put them in indoor run. Do you think I'm confusing them? They weren't very happy about being lifted or cuddled yesterday. Wish they could talk - well, they are very vocal but I haven't mastered piggy talk yet! Thanks for any advice given!:(

I don't think you will be confusing them just make sure that there isn't a big temperature difference bringing them outdoors to indoors. I had Erin (my new baby pig) in the indoor run the second day I had her and she was fine.

Your pigs just need time to settle :)

Yeah, I read about that on here before. I reckon the temp is about the same, no heating on in the house and the windows are open. They're just such a worry!

They'll be fine. Trust me :) After a few trips to their indoor run, they will see it as 'theirs'. My girls are in their indoor run at the minute :)

Are your piggies living outdoors all year round? If so, you will have to be more carful about bringing them indoors over the winter. Last winter, I brought mine indoors for floor rime but made sure the heating was off, windows were slightly open and I only did it when the weather wasn't icy cold. You don't need to worry about that yet though :)

Claire - that's what I'm worrying about right now! This winter was terribly cold and they would have to come inside for floor time, hopefully your heating off etc idea would work for me too, might try to persuade husband before next winter that they should be indoors permanently! I wouldn't worry so much if I could see them all the time! Phew!

I worry about that too. I would love for mine to be indoors but hubby is allergic to them and we just do not have the room :( They were fine over the winter though and I made sure they were warm enough :)
