Annoyed...

I have just been talking to my younger sister about the animals she has at her secondary school, she has told me they have 4 guinea pigs and by her description it sounds as though they are all kept together in either an 80 or 100 ferplast cage
I know that this happens alot and that many people are misinformed by petshops when they buy cages that are too small, but surely a school should set a good example and do research before keeping any animal!?
It's really made me cross

That is so sad. Those poor piggies. Could you ask her to talk to them about it and quote the RSPCA guidelines? I totally disagree with animals kept at school. What a horrible environment for them.

Thanks for the link, I did think about telling her to talk to her teacher but I thought that was a bit unfair on her... Do you think it would be inappropriate if I sent them an email?

No, that is a good idea. She is too young to say anything but you can.
