An awful shock

I’ve just found out that my childhood best friends older brother died over the weekend from an aggressive brain tumour. I have fond memories of him. He wasn’t much older than my own brother who I now just want to give a big hug and will do when we see him on 2nd July. It’s such a shame as John was a lovely guy

Thank you everyone. My friend also has a severely disabled child who could pass away at anytime and both her parents have cancer She moved to Devon when we were teenagers and we kind of lost touch when we both went to different universities. But we reconnected on Facebook a few years ago. She’s going through such a rough time I just want to give her a massive hug but we live too far apart as I’m up in Lancashire and she’s still in Devon
