Just saw that Amazon Smile is ending on February 20th. So sad as I used that to donate to charity. I can't remember if some of the piggy rescues on here had that tied to them. Just thought I would give a heads up.

Yes I got that email as well. It said that since the launch 10 years ago "the programme has not grown to create the impact that we had originally hoped. What impact had it hoped for? So far £18.5 million has been donated to charity! I should think that's a pretty big impact. More like they don't want it to come of their profits!

What a shame :( knowing some money was being generated for TEAS is what made me use them, yet another reason for me to use amazon less now I suppose!

This is going to effect so many small charities 😞 I’ve had an email too

Very disappointed as my work use them too. We get very little but it's better than nothing

This is rubbish!

A donation to a chosen charity was the only good a purchase via Amazon would do; lord knows there's precious little else going for them other than convenience, and plenty bad. I guess they're big enough to not be bothered that some will shop elsewhere as a result :td:

OUCH! I have nominated TEAS sanctuary as my Amazon Smile charity.

Thank you. It just confirms my own thoughts. :(
A lot of what they say applies to the charity I work for. Our costs are overheads and very little on physical items we could buy from Amazon (maybe some notepads, post it's and pens). Can't exactly put gas, electric, water, and staff salaries on there can you!
