Am i being paranoid or are my boys annoyed with me?!

I promise I have not had too much Xmas sherry
We had a relatives dog here on Xmas day who is unknown around other animals so I moved my two boys from their open C&C cage in the kitchen to an enclosed , much smaller cage (the one they came in and were living in before we got them . I have kept the cage in the garage for emergencies ).
Anyway, the boys were in their cage for about 5 hours. We all felt guilty and gave them lots of treats and popped in to see them regularly ( they were out of the way upstairs out of the dogs reach) As soon as the dog went , we put the boys back in the kitchen. All Boxing Day, Cocoa stayed in his hidey and pointedly turned his back on us. Do guinea pigs sulk?! He has forgiven us now...just (after some peace offering parsley)

Well, there are two ways of looking at this, one might be that the smell of dogs and new people made your piggies scared. Or, they are complete divas and were not speaking to you for putting them out of the way for a few hours! Either way no harm done and putting them safely out of the way of the dog for a few hours was definitely the sensible thing to do, they will settle down and forgive you soon
