When you stroke under Jenny's chin she will lift up her nose as high as she can in the air.

On the one hand I want to hope that she does this cos she likes it and is letting me get good access. But I'm afraid that she is submitting to the great big thing that wants to dominate her...

Dominating is forcing the chin up with your finger; scratching gently on the soft spot under chin, especially when you see the mouth relax is something that many piggies actually enjoy.

Yay! She does look like she is smiling when you do it, but I am aware it is easy to anthropomorphize behaviour and didn't want to be distressing her when what it actually was was fear rather than enjoyment. Thank you.

Good question, I'm glad to have read this I had thought the same - do they actually like it or is it me wishful thinking?!?!?!? Their little piggy lips look relaxed so I can safely continue in the knowledge they are pretty happy !
