Hi guys! Sorry I have tons of question, I'm just paranoid I think. My GP keeps jumping around from his cage and I also did research and I found out that they are happy when the do that. The only thing that worries me is, why does he do it all the time? I don't know if he has mites because he doesn't scratch himself every single time, there also no hair loss but he does shed normally. Thank you!

Do you mean little jumps on the spot? That is called popcorning. It’s a happy thing! Definitely not anything to worry about, it’s a sign of happy, content and comfortable guinea pig!
Does he have a friend to live with?

Ohhh oki, thank you hehe! Unfortunately he doesn't have a friend that lives with him. When we bought him he is alone in his cage and because of that we thought that it is not a good thing that we get a buddy for him. He's also 4-5 months I think when we got him.

He absolutely does need a friend, they should never be kept alone. Guinea pigs are highly social and need to be kept in pairs, they aren’t meant to be alone and will suffer from loneliness. Him being alone in the cage where you got him from is not a sign that he shouldn’t live with another piggy – most likely the others were sold and he was left.
As he is a boy, then he can live with one other, character compatible, Male. Or he can be neutered, have a six week wait and then live with a female(s).
It is essential that any friend is character compatible - you cannot just go and buy another guinea and put it in the cage. Particularly, now he is entering his teens, then you need to be careful to ensure the right friend to ensure a successful long term bond.
The best way to find a character compatible friend is to speak to a rescue centre as they can help you with the process. You would also need to ensure your cage is big enough for two piggies, particularly boars (and teens!)

If you can tell us where you are we may be able to point you in the direction of a rescue.
Some of them do boar dating so the piggy chooses their own companion

Hey guys thank you for the tips! I'll get a friend for him soon. Also I'm from the Philippines and I think there are no rescue centers that rescues guinea pigs here:(

That’s harder for you if there’s no rescues.
I rescued a 12 week old boar who had been bullied and was labelled as unable to live with other piggies.
I had him neutered and after his 6 week wait he joined my herd of 3 sows.
He’s a very happy boy now.

Are you ok after the storm that hit the Philippines?

I think I'll just get him a friend after 2-3 weeks because I got him on Dec.9.
Also yes I am fine, thank you for your concern!
