Alternatives for newspaper liner

Our girls live in a C&C enclosure with Back to Nature bedding. This seems to suit them well and we line the enclosure with newspaper before putting in the bedding to help at cleaning time. As we have to use several different sheets and the girls are active, we usually end up with newspaper bunching up/bedding going underneath. Any suggestions for an alternative to newspaper - wipeable but light and flexible enough that we can use it to scoop out the bedding? I'd wondered about taping the newspaper but worried in case that might be harmful.

You can try a plastic tablecloth. I use an oilcloth table cloth on my shed floor as it’s wipe clean

Thanks. I'm going to give the oilcloth a go first, as it's just to help scoop up the bedding at clean time (without the joins of newspaper)... let's see how I go!
